In 2009, a four-student team entered one of the first-ever VEX U regional competitions on the East Coast; that team of four took home first place. Their determination, passion, creativity, and willingness to learn lay the foundation for the NYIT Bears.  More than a half-decade later, the mantra of the original four is the driving force of our team.  Our members, past, present, and future, embody the mantra and continuously apply it, achieving greater heights. Though our alumni have settled all over the country and our members are from around the globe, we are all connected by the best part of our university years: VEX Robotics.
